Recently in Iowa a group brought me out to do an event at an 800 seat auditorium. 😳 I've never pulled a crowd that size. Was this going to be an utter disaster?
This brought back every feeling I had that epic night, Colby! Unbeknownst to you, I, too, feared the room would feel empty. I was flabbergasted to watch all those Iowans fill the seats. Your words (as I said that night) are the words this world needs right now. You, my friend, you conduit of love, are the real deal. 🔥🔥🔥
I was in the 8:00 service that morning and the Q and A after. What a warm-hearted and caring individual Colby is! From speaking to the children who came forward, to preaching the “assigned Lutheran topic”, to giving of himself to the intimacy of the assembled crowd downstairs, Colby remained consistently caring and spoke to the individual needs and concerns especially of parents and family members of LGBTQ+ people. I thought his book was intelligently researched and explained, as he shared his broken heart and gradual healing with the world. Please keep it up and stay at it! ❤️

I so much enjoyed your article If they build it will they come? Thank you so much for bringing your message of love to Cedar Falls! We also were surprised at how many people showed up at UNI. It was awesome! Last week our church voted to disaffiliate with their current denomination based on disagreement of their beliefs on inclusion. With sad and heavy hearts we are now searching for a new church home. I only wished we were able to hear you preach at St John’s that morning because your presentation at the beautiful Lang Hall auditorium was AMAZING! Thank you for being a conduit of love
I love you, Colby. God bless you and all the "Elijah's", restoring the truth of the good news of Jesus for WHOSOEVER. I am sad that the church is so lost to anti-gay and anti-choice lies. I believe it's the "Image of the Beast" that's bringing all the false prophets and thieves. The right-wing church is lost to bigotry and greed, but, the left is just so idolatrous. Exodus 13:16, Rev 13:16 & Matt 5:29. It's what you fill your head with and give your time, money and strength that proves who our God is. Most "worship" the image today. I pray you see. It's all fulfilled. 2Thess2:11. They believe THE LIE
